Who's watching who?
A Squacco Heron rests among the thickets overhanging Lake Panic.
"These comical birds seemed as curious with my presence as I was with theirs"
One of my favourite seasons in the botanical gardens is aloe flowering season. The flowers attract the most vividly coloured sunbirds.
Khokovela looking as beautiful as ever.
Sunsets and Leopards - a match made in heaven.
Always a treat seeing a Yellow-bellied Greenbul darting into a thicket. Spent some time with this shy bird while walking around Skukuza rest camp.
If you ever end up having a "quiet" drive while on safari, take a walk around the camps and see how many birds you can photograph. You may be surprised with how many different birds you may come across on your walk.
I love walking through the rest camps in the Kruger National Park. Spotting the smaller creatures is the most fun.
